Five-part educational framework examines entity formation, commercial banking, private capital and long-term asset planning

LAS VEGAS — July 22, 2026 — Kilam International announced the publication of a five-part business structuring framework developed by business strategist and author Don Kilam to help entrepreneurs examine how formal entities, commercial financial practices and asset-planning tools may support enterprise growth.

The framework draws on Kilam’s personal journey from homelessness and financial hardship to developing what the company describes as a $35.8 million multi-asset portfolio. Rather than presenting personal identity as separate from business activity, Kilam encourages entrepreneurs to consider how their names, professional brands and commercial operations can be organized through legally established entities.

According to Kilam International, the educational model grew from Kilam’s decision to move away from a consumer-focused financial approach and adopt more formal business systems involving entity formation, accounting, banking relationships, private financing and asset diversification.

“True economic stability is not defined only by how much currency moves through your hands,” Kilam said. “It is also shaped by the structures established to manage risk, support growth and create long-term value.”

Five-Part Business Structuring Framework

The first component addresses corporate formalization. Kilam’s framework discusses the use of limited liability companies and, where appropriate, non-grantor irrevocable express trusts to separate personal responsibilities from defined commercial operations.

The second component focuses on business accounting and banking. The framework emphasizes maintaining organized financial records, documented revenue and expenses, and consistent commercial deposit activity to strengthen an enterprise’s financial profile.

The third component examines private capital acquisition. Kilam describes how properly structured companies may seek financing from private lenders based on business operations, financial documentation, assets and contractual terms rather than relying exclusively on personal credit cards.

The fourth component covers equity and private shares. Kilam International says private companies may explore structured equity participation as a method of raising expansion capital. Any offer or sale of private securities remains subject to applicable securities laws, investor-eligibility rules and required disclosures. This announcement does not constitute an offer to sell securities.

The fifth component addresses portfolio diversification. Kilam’s approach includes reinvesting available capital across real estate, digital education platforms and legally established asset-planning structures, including spendthrift trusts where permitted by applicable law.

Kilam International said the framework is intended to encourage entrepreneurs to think more deliberately about the legal, financial and operational systems supporting their businesses. It does not promise that entity formation, private lending, trusts or equity structures will produce a specific financial outcome.

The company also advises entrepreneurs to consult qualified legal, tax, accounting and securities professionals before establishing entities, forming trusts, raising private capital or offering ownership interests. The tax treatment and legal effectiveness of any structure depend on individual circumstances, governing documents and applicable law.

Additional educational material is available through the Don Kilam website and the Don Kilam online community.
